Important advice on parking and finding your way on campus

Avoid the queues at ticket machines and organise your parking before you arrive on campus.

Parking permits are required Monday to Friday, 8.00am-5.00pm at the Melbourne Campus and 8.00am – 4.30pm at the Bendigo Campus.

Here we explain how to purchase parking (unless you’re a student at Shepparton, Mildura or Albury-Wodonga – then parking is free!).

Option 1:  Purchase a vPermit

vPermits can be purchased before you arrive on campus to make your parking experience easier.

They are available as yearly or half yearly permits.

To purchase a vPermit go to:  vpermit.com.au/latrobe

Option 2: Use the CellOPark app

What’s CellOPark you ask? It’s just an alternative to parking meters for casual parkers. Also, it’s charged by the minute, so you only pay for what you use.

Here’s how it works:

Step 1: Download the CellOPark app before you arrive on campus from the App Store or Google Play.

Step 2: Register your details.

Step 3: When you arrive on campus, simply swipe in the app to start, and swipe to end.

Option 3: Pay-by-plate parking Meters

This is a ticketless parking meter for casual parkers.

Just enter your vehicle’s registration number into the on-site machine – no need to return to your car to affix a ticket!

Pay by cash (coins only) or credit card.

For Melbourne, this is available in all Car Parks (1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 7, 7A, 8, 9 and Visitors Car Parks).

At Bendigo, these meters are available in carparks 1, 2 and 9.

New fees in 2020

The cost of parking has risen slightly ahead of Semester One. You can catch up the latest fees here.
