Welcome back to Uni! We’ve compiled a quick list of programs, support services and opportunities you absolutely do not want to miss out on during your time at La Trobe.

1. Get in touch with Career Ready

If you’re coming back to Uni for your second or third year and you haven’t accessed Career Ready at your campus – you need to get to it. Our specialised Career Ready service was designed to make you more employable as a graduate. These guys will help you out with perfecting your resume, landing an internship and building a kick-ass LinkedIn page. Careers services are available on every campus just hit them up for an appointment as soon as you’re back at Uni.

2. Start thinking about studying overseas

Studying overseas is one of the best things you can do at Uni, it’s a life changing opportunity, that will give you a global experience. There are so many options… You can study for either a Semester or a year or take part in an Overseas Short Program for less than six months through study tours or internships. The world is literally your oyster. Find out more about studying overseas or jump on our Overseas Insta to see students who have participated.

3. Get on top of your studies

Your back in action and you want to start amping up your results so you can graduate with the most impressive degree possible. You can now get the support you need face-to-face through The Learning Hub and online with Achieve@Uni.

4. Look after your health and wellbeing

Sometimes keeping on top of life study, work and life can be all-consuming, so it’s important to make sure you look after yourself to ensure you get the most from your time at uni. If things are getting on top of you and you need to speak to someone we provide comprehensive counselling and mental health support services.
