Need help getting your job searches right? Want to know what makes for a great interview? Need to brush up on your skills for successful phone interviews? You’ve come to the right place!

With lots of graduate jobs for 2021 opening in March, you need to prepare now. Our Careers Showcase event on campus is also the perfect opportunity to rub shoulders with employers looking to hire graduates.

Workshop 1: Job Search Strategies for Graduates

Boost your chances of graduate job search success with expert advice and activities to help you focus your job search and connect with relevant opportunities.

This workshop includes:

  • an overview of the job market and opportunities for graduates
  • defining what you can bring to the workplace, understanding what employers are looking for
  • practical job search strategies
  • ways to connect with your profession, industry or sector skills and strategies for effective networking
  • useful resources.

Workshop 2: Interview Skills and Practice for Graduates

This is a comprehensive workshop – come along ready to practice answers to typical job interview questions.  This workshop includes:

  • Gain an edge in the graduate employment market with expert advice and activities around: 
  • practical ways to prepare so you can present your best self to employers  
  • different types of job interview questions and how to approach them
  • practising and fine-tuning your interview skills and strategies  
  • useful resources.
